Revamp Contemporary Dance Company is currently accepting applicants!

The RCDC teaching team is composed of dance educators with a wide range of backgrounds and experience. We are always on the lookout for passionate youth educators who bring creativity and a unique voice to their teaching practice. If you're interested in being considered as a member of our teaching team, we'd love to learn more about you!  


  • An ability to plan and deliver engaging dance lessons is required

  • Strong content knowledge of creative dance and a variety of dance styles (ballet, jazz, hip-hop, modern, etc.)

  • Dance teaching experience, specifically experience working with children

  • Experience teaching in schools, after school programs, and/or community centers

  • Lead classes with energy, enthusiasm and precision

  • Inspire students to work hard so they can dance like you

  • Enthusiasm for teaching dance to students who may have never been exposed to the arts

  • Ability to engage students in all areas

  • Ability to make own lesson plans

  • Attend all staff meetings and company functions

  • No degree is necessary but experience in field is required

  • Reliable transportation is required

  • Daytime availability on multiple weekdays

Administrative Internship
The Arts Administrative Intern will receive valuable hands-on experience in working for a dance studio. This internship can be designed to address your personal interests and learn new skills in the field of Arts Administration.

  • 10 hours/ week

  • Must have access to a computer


  • Assist coordinating events for community programming

  • Maintains communication with supervisor while working remotely

  • Please note this list is not all-encompassing and additional tasks may be delegated in a reasonable capacity not to exceed the 10 hour commitment.


  • Enrolled in an accredited university to receive academic credit

  • Strong communication and organizational skills

  • Interest in dance and arts administration

  • Student-mentality, willingness to learn, high level of initiative to meet and exceed deadlines

  • Ability to work individually and on a team

  • Positive attitude

  • Areas of study include Arts Administration, Dance, Marketing, Advertising, Management
