Founder / CEO
Thomasina is a graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a B.A. degree in Liberal Arts and Dance. While attending UNCG she ministered with the NEO Black Society’s Passion for Praise Dance Team. In 2013 and 2014, she was nominated for the Interpretative Dancer of the Year Award and was the recipient of the 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year Award all from the Forsyth County Entertainment Award.
She specializes in Ballet, Contemporary, Jazz, Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and improvisational dance techniques, but also enjoys African, as a complement to her choreography.
Thomasina is a proud dance and step instructor through Success after School in relation to Communities in Schools for Guilford County Schools. She was the recipient of both the 2014 and 2015 Champion’s Cup Award. Thomasina has recently been given the opportunity to expand with the Northeast High School Marching band as their new dance team coach.
Ms. Gloria Archie Robinson is the daughter of Mrs. Mae Alice Archie and the late Mr. Alfred Archie, Sr. She graduated from East Forsyth High School in 1971 and continued her education by attending North Carolina Central University in Durham, NC and Winston-Salem State University in Winston-Salem, NC. She majored in Elementary Education specializing in Mathematics. She also attended High Point University in High Point, NC graduating magna cum laude with honors with a 3.99 GPA. She retired from the WSFC Schools after working in the classroom for 32 years. She is currently a clerical assistant at Bolton Elementary School in Winton-Salem, NC.
Adrienne Powell (Fayetteville, NC) studied ballet/ pointe, tap, jazz, and lyrical for six years before dancing competitively. She competed for five years, winning awards for groups and solos. While in high school she was in five theatrical productions where she was appointed dance captain and assistant choreographer for the theatre department. She attended the Comprehensive Dance Summer Intensive at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts for five summers. There she got the opportunity to learn from distinguished dance trainers. She was selected to perform in the Martha Graham University Showcase at the Joyce Theater in New York City in February of 2017. While studying abroad in Corciano, Italy she collaborated with dance artists and musicians including the voice of the pope. She was a lead teacher for Dancers Connect at UNCG where she taught ballet, jazz, hip hop, creative movement, and parent-child dance. There she used interdisciplinary techniques to incorporate grade-level science lessons into collaborative choreography with young dancers. She is a recent graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where she received a BFA in Choreography and Performance. She is currently performing and collaborating with various professional artists across multiple disciplines in the Greensboro area while growing her skills as a choreographer and dance educator. Her goal is to not only give dancers access to exceptional technical dance skills, but to help them develop life skills that will serve them no matter where the future takes them
Savannah Jenkins is a Dancer, Choreographer and performing artist who is from Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She started her training at Dancers Edge and continues to pursue a BFA in dance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She has performed works by many UNCG undergraduate, graduate and alumni and continues to perform under the school. She has also trained in New York City with many artists and hopes to pursue a career there. Savannah enjoys all types of dance and is excited to be joining the Revamp Family!
Priscilla is a 22 year old student at the Illustrious North Carolina A&T State University majoring in Liberal Arts with a minor is psychology. Priscilla’s dance journey began at the early age of 7 in her hometown Durham, NC. From the very first dance class she knew she had found her calling. Priscilla is trained in Ballet, Contemporary/Modern, Jazz and Hip Hop. She has competed statewide and nationally in Hip Hop and Contemporary competitions. Her expertise is performance training and choreography. It is always her goal to promote confidence, creativity and discipline to those whom will experience any of her classes.
