Table Talk with Julie
Julie Peebles, a PhD student in Developmental Psychology at UNC Greensboro, will be presenting an informational talk on the development of body image in girls. In this science-based session, she will discuss how body image evolves throughout childhood and into adolescence and will provide strategies for caregivers to support healthy body image for young girls. There will be an informational presentation for parents to learn more about body image development, and I'll leave some time at the end for a Q&A.
